Letter to Customers Regarding Entegrus Merger

To our valued customers,

As we announced earlier in 2017, St. Thomas Energy has applied to the Ontario Energy Board to merge with another electrical distributor, Entegrus Powerlines. We are currently awaiting final approval from the Ontario Energy Board. Upon approval, this merger would take place in early 2018.

We are committed to continuing to offer the excellent levels of service you have come to expect from St. Thomas Energy. We will continue to operate under the strong values that guide us to be a safe, customer and community focused, and sustainable utility. We look forward to our future together.

Upon completion of the merger, we will adopt the Entegrus Powerlines name as the combined electrical distributor will serve multiple communities throughout southwestern Ontario.

We will provide additional information by way of bill inserts, once the merger has been approved and its timing is confirmed. At that time, we will provide details regarding any changes such as a new website address, etc. that could affect you. We do, however, expect that the changes will be minimal.

The services offered by St. Thomas Energy will continue, and our office will continue to be open at 135 Edward Street, in St. Thomas, Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 4:30pm. In addition, your account number will remain the same, as will the services available online, including your login to Customer Connect.

As we begin to harmonize processes and systems, additional changes may occur. We will continue to communicate any changes that will affect you, and updates will be made available on our website.

We appreciate your understanding and if you have any questions, please contact Customer Service at 519-631-5550.
